We need to know our times tables to 12x12 off by heart and would be grateful if you could help your child with them as regularly as possible.

We are sending our children home with books that we know there are reading securely. Please listen to your child read regularly and help them to understand their book by asking questions about the text/story. Please make sure that you sign your child's planner so that we know that they are reading at home. This will be checked weekly in school.

Also, please ensure that you are practicing your child's spellings with them daily, including allowing them to write them out as well as saying them verbally. Please encourage your child to try and put these words in to sentences so that they understand the word's meaning.

Please ensure that your child brings their planners and reading books to school with them each day.
