Red Class

In Red Class, there is our class teacher, Mrs Frost and our HLTA, Mrs McManus. There are 25 Year 5 and 6 children in our class.

Congratulations to for their pupil of the week certificates. Keep up the hard work!


Remember to take care of your new homework books.

Homework is set on a Thursday/Friday and is due back on the following Thursday.

P.E. is on a Monday and a Wednesday so please remember kits for both days.

Reading records are checked every Monday and Thursday.

Yr 6 should ensure they have their homework planners in school everyday.

Spelling homework is set on an individual basis. Every child will have one week to learn their 10 individual spellings. 


In our number work, we have been learning all about fractions. 



In non-narrative writing, we have been learning how to write effective narrative with shifts in formality.


Class reader - we are currently reading  "Goodnight Mr Tom" by Michelle Magorian.

Children need their planners in every Monday and Thursday, having read a minimum of 5 pages in between. Please ensure the planners are signed for a Monday and a Thursday.
