Homework will now consist of weekly Mathletics challenges, reading and spellings.

This week, we are looking at homophones in spelling!

The words are:

there, their, they're, to, too, two, affect, effect, threw, through, caught and court.

Our times table challenge this week is...

8 times tables!

In Maths, we will be learning about place value.

We will be looking at the value of digits in up to 5 digit numbers, rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 and whole number and representing numbers in different ways.

In English, we are looking at re-creating an explanation text.

We also have daily sentence focus work linked to the text type we are studying. For an explanation text, we will be looking at causal conjunctions and technical vocabulary.
