Welcome to Indigo Class's page! We are a Year 3 class with 29 pupils altogether. Our class teacher is Miss Hollick. We are supported by Mrs Irving, our HLTA. Our school governor is Rachel Ferraby.
Thank you to all the parents/carers who joined us for the 'meet the teacher' meeting. If you missed it, please find the slides here.
Due to school closures, home learning tasks have been sent home.
For the first 2 weeks, they will have the home learning tasks to do as well as online learning. It will then be Easter and they have 2 weeks off as usual. After this, there is a further 1 week of home learning and an activity book for week 4.

Important things to Know:
PE is on Tuesdays and Fridays so please ensure children bring kits on both days. This involves indoor and outdoor PE kits. Our PE slot on a Friday is the last lesson of the day. After speaking with other members of staff and some parents, it has been decided that the children will go home on a Friday in their PE kit to ensure they have the most time possible learning.
On Wednesday afternoons we will be going swimming. Please ensure children bring their swimming costumes or trunks and goggles if they would like them.
Children can access Bug Club, Times Table Rockstars, Purple Mash and Mathletics from home.
Log on details are inside their reading records.

Times Table Rockstars:
Reading records are checked every Monday and Thursday. We will also try and change any reading books that need changing on these days too.
Please ensure that planners are brought to school everyday.
Mathletics homework is set on a Monday and due to be completed online by the following Monday.
Learn By Hearts will be sent home by the children's maths teacher and they will be tested on the maths fact the following week.
Children will be tested on their spellings on a Thursday and given new spellings to learn for the following week. This weeks spelling rule is based on near homophones.
Times tables homework books will go home everyday as extra times tables practise. This week the children are completing their 3 x and 8 x tables.
