Welcome to Orange Class, we are a mixed Year 5 and 6 class with 30 children.

23rd October we have an English Open Morning. This will be a normal lesson for the children but will give parents and carers the opportunity to see their child in class, how they work and work with them. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible - thank you to those who have already confirmed their attendance.

Reading records must be signed by an adult twice a week (Monday and Thursday). Please ensure that they read a minimum of 5 pages on both occasions and the book and page numbers are recorded. .
Please ensure planners are brought to school every day - children can then comment on how their day has been, this will include telling you that the have stayed on green or if they have had a consequence they can discuss this with you.
In Maths, we are working on the four operations
for daily maths workouts.
In English we are working on explanation texts. With our outcome being able to write an text explaining how the circulatory system works.
