What does science look like at Victoria?
We stick to our vision and core principles of science. These were created through collaboration between the children and the adults working in school. This is how we want science to look like in school.
Science Day
Our Science Day this year was on the 28th February when we were visited by Education Group. Unfortunately, someone had broke into the safes at school and the children needed to use science to find out who the culprit was. The children were absolutely fantastic with this and the pictures below show what great fun they had:
As well as our workshop, there was all different kinds of science work going on in school:
Meet our science supervisors.....
These children make sure science equipment is out at break times so that we can continue exploring outside the classroom.
Young Person's Science Book Award 2019
We were chosen for the second year running to be part of the judging panel. The children took their job very seriously and really enjoyed the experience. We have applied to be part of this again for this year!
Mad Science
On Monday 25th November, we were visited by Science Steve. He carried out an interesting assembly all about the wonders of science. It was very popular!
