Support for parents

Leeds SENDIASS provides information and advice, for parents/carers, children, and young people with Special Educational Needs. ​​ Leeds SENDIASS is impartial, confidential, arm's length from the Local Authority and schools, free and accessible to all parents and carers of children with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. Information can be found on the website - click hereSENDIASS also run parent workshops.

If you are considering a specialist provision for your child, SENDIASS provide information here about the range of options available. Children must have an EHCP to access the specialist provisions.. 

The MindMate Neurodiversity Hub is a one-stop support resource for neurodivergent children, young people and their families and carers in Leeds.  The Neurodivsity hub can be accessed here

Leeds STARS  provide free workshops for parents/carers of children with autism or who are considering an autism assessment. Information about the workshops can be found here
