Online Safety at Rothwell Victoria Junior School
At Rothwell Victoria Junior School, we are committed to safeguarding our pupils in both the physical and digital world. Online safety is a core part of our safeguarding strategy and is embedded across our curriculum, staff training, and parental engagement.
What Guides Our Approach?
Our online safety provision is shaped by:
- Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025
- The Online Safety Act 2023
- Education for a Connected World Framework
- UKCIS 4 Cs of Online Risk: Content, Contact, Conduct, and Commerce
We regularly review our filtering and monitoring systems using the DfE’s self-assessment tool and ensure our staff are trained to respond to emerging risks such as misinformation, AI-generated content, and online manipulation.
